No. We’re a tour guiding company, not a travel agency. That means we don’t sell flights, hotels, or package holidays. What we do is craft and deliver your guided experience – the stories, the connections, the insight. We can recommend trusted accommodation and dining, but bookings remain in your hands.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. It gives peace of mind for unexpected changes, medical needs, or cancellations.
What about Scotland’s famous midges?
They’re real – especially in the west during summer evenings. But they’re manageable. We suggest repellent, light clothing that covers arms and legs, and a sense of humour. Rest assured, we plan routes and stops to minimise discomfort.
What should I wear?
Layers are key. Scotland’s weather can deliver four seasons in a day. A waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, and a warm jumper are essentials. In towns, smart-casual is the norm; in the countryside, practicality rules.
Do I need to be very fit?
Not at all. We design tours around you. We love walking, but not every guest wants to climb Munros. From gentle coastal strolls to museum visits, there are options for every level of activity.
Will I see whisky distilleries and castles?
Almost certainly – but how many depends on you. We can include iconic sites, but also quieter gems where the story runs deeper and the crowds are fewer.
What about food?
Scotland’s dining scene is extraordinary, from Michelin-starred restaurants to seafood shacks. We’ll suggest places that fit your preferences – but please book dinners in advance, even in small villages.
