Attaché Tours – Terms and Conditions
1. General
Attaché Tours offers curated, private tour services across Scotland. By confirming a booking, clients agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
The balance is typically due 14 calendar days before the start of the tour unless otherwise agreed. Payment details will be confirmed in the booking agreement.
3. Cancellations and Amendments
– Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date – payments made (less the deposit) may be refunded at our discretion.
– Cancellations made 8–14 days before the start date – may be eligible for a 50% refund, at our discretion.
– Cancellations made 7 days or fewer before the start date – non-refundable.
Amendments to dates or itineraries may be possible but are subject to availability and may incur additional charges..
4. Travel Insurance
All clients must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, personal belongings, health, and unforeseen travel delays. Attaché Tours does not accept liability for any costs incurred due to inadequate insurance coverage.
5. Delays and Disruption
Attaché Tours will always aim to adhere to the agreed itinerary and schedule. However, we cannot accept responsibility for delays beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, or third-party service issues. Clients should ensure their travel insurance covers any costs or losses resulting from delayed return or missed onward travel.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in the tour activities, and for bringing any necessary personal items such as appropriate footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, personal medication, and identification.
7. Liability
While every effort is made to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participation in a tour is at the client’s own risk. Attaché Tours accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising during the tour, except where caused by proven negligence.
8. Accessibility and Special Requirements
Please inform us at the time of booking if you or a member of your group has any accessibility needs or other special requirements. We will do our best to accommodate them.
9. Photography and Promotion
Unless otherwise requested, we may take photographs during the tour for promotional use, including on social media and our website. Please advise in advance if you do not wish to be included in such materials.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Scottish law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
